Would You Keep Your Child Home if He Were Bullied?

Bullying is in the news more and more.

Are we more sensitive to it now or is it just the hot button du jour?  If your children were bullied in school would you keep them out of school until the problem were corrected?  Or, would you tell them that they need to learn to deal with it productively since it is "real life?"
