The game was delayed nearly two hours by lightening, then cut short by two innings due to rain but in between the Yankees were able to complete a three-game sweep of the Toronto Blue Jays with a 6-0 win Wednesday in the Bronx.

Hiroki Kuroda (9-7) earned his third straight win, allowing just four hits through seven shutout innings.

Mark Teixeira clubbed his 19th homer, a two-run shot off Ricky Romero (8-6) - who was touched up for six runs on a dozen hits through six innings.

Dewayne Wise had two hits and two RBI's, Jayson Nix picked up two more hits and two runs scored, while Nick Swisher and Andruw Jones each drove in a run.

Robinson Cano went 1 for 3, extending his hit-streak to 21 games.

For New York it was their fifth win in six games since the All-Star break, opening up a 10 game lead in the AL East. The bombers take their hot bats to Oakland to open a four-game series with the A's on Thursday night (10:05).
