Robinson Cano crushed a Miguel Batista (1-2) fastball over the apple in the center field to lift the Yankees to a 6-5 win over the Mets on Sunday night, helping the bombers take the rubber game of the Subway Series at Citi Field.

The Yanks scored five runs off of R.A. Dickey including Nick Swisher's three-blast in the third inning. Coming off consecutive complete game one-hitters, Dickey last just six innings while walking three and striking out three.

Trailing 5-2 in the sixth, the Mets rallied to tie with three unearned runs - a two-out, two-RBI single from Andres Torres, followed by a Ruben Tejada RBI single - all off of C.C. Sabathia.

Sabathia lasted just 5 2/3, surrendering nine hits and five runs, but four were unearned due to three Yankee errors.

Boone Logan (2-0) the win with David Robertson and Rafael Soriano working the eighth and ninth. For Soriano it was save No. 15.

The Yankees moved their record to 43-28 and took five of six in the season series. The Mets fall to 39-34.
