A Yorkville man is facing numerous charges following an alleged high-speed chase that started in the Town of Western and ended with a crash in Marcy.

State Police say after leading police on a pursuit through the Town of Floyd, 46-year old Michael Hoke lost control of his car on Route 291.

The say the vehicle struck multiple trees and came to rest against a fence near the Whitesboro High School athletic field.

Hoke was taken into custody without incident following a brief foot chase.

He's charged with unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine, criminal possession of a weapon, unlawfully fleeing a police officer and numerous traffic violations.
