The Young Scholars Liberty Partnerships Program will be the recipient of the 2017 Mayor's Gala.

Utica Mayor Robert Palmieri and his wife Susan made the announcement today at City Hall.

The Gala will be held on Saturday, April 29th at the Radisson Hotel in downtown Utica from 6:00 to 11:00.

Tickets are $50.  To purchase tickets you can visit the Mayor’s Benefit Gala website at uticamayorbenefitgala.com or you can make checks payable to Young Scholars LLP and mail them to Utica College.

The Young Scholars Program has a 93 percent graduation rate of its students, with a 100 percent graduation rate for 2016.  The valedictorian and five of the top ten graduates from Proctor High School's 2016 graduating class were Young Scholars.

Young Scholars Executive Director Pam Matt said, “Young Scholars LPP, Utica College and the Utica City School District are so thankful for a generous Utica community that works together to nurture the intellectual, professional and personal growth of our students. Together we can grow big dreams!”
