(WIBX) - Your house, and how it is laid out, may be making you fat.  According to an article released by "Woman's Day" Magazine, playing fast music while you eat and drinking from glasses that are not the right shape might be preventing you from losing weight.

According to Brian Wansink, Ph.D., author of a book entitled "Mindless Eating," people eat more than ninety percent of the food they serve themselves.  Experts say eating from smaller plates, and moving snacks to shelves that are not so easy to reach may help those trying to lose weight.

So make certain that your bedroom is tidy and conducive to getting sleep, use smaller spoons, and yes, turn down the tunes to get both you and your house in shape.
