YWCA Mohawk Valley Receives Thousands in Grant Funding
YWCA Mohawk Valley has just received thousands of dollars in grant funding from the U.S. Office of Violence Against Women.
The $249,00 award will support the YWCA's transitional housing program for homeless victims of domestic violence.
It plans to enhance the housing services by creating a partnership with the Women's Employment and Resource Center to provide transitional clients with job skills, along with employment and career placement services.
