YWCA Salute To Outstanding Women 2012 Honorees

Utica, NY (WIBX) - The YWCA Mohawk Valley is announcing this year's honorees for the YWCA's Salute to Outstanding Women Award. WIBX's Jeanette Lenoir was named the honoree in the Arts and Communications category.

The other 2012 honorees are:

• Business & Industry: Shulamis Giordani of Utica
• Education: Ann Marie Murray, Ph.D. of Herkimer
• Healthcare: Charlene Macri, RN C-FNP, of Herkimer
• Human & Public Services: Azira Tabucic of Oriskany
• Professions: Pastor Gloria Scutchins of Utica
• Racial Justice: Carie Warmack of Utica
• Unsung Heroine: Susan Woods of Clinton

Every year the non-profit agency recognizes eight women in Herkimer and Oneida Counties for "exceptional achievement in their personal and professional lives." The awards will be handed out during a luncheon on April 5th at Hart's Hill Inn in Whitesboro.
