YWCA Take Back The Night Rally In Rome
Rome, NY (WIBX) - In an effort to raise awareness about domestic violence, the YWCA of Mohawk Valley is presenting, Take Back the Night Rally. The march and speak-out event is taking place this evening at 6:00, at Light & Life Community Church located on 317 W. Embargo Street in Rome. Organizers say the event will kick-off with a brief march through the community, followed by a speak-out session and a candlelight vigil for those impacted by violence.
The non-profit group will also present its Silent Witness Project–a clothesline exhibit about victims of domestic and sexual violence. For more information about the rally, visit, www.ywcamv.org.
