Zecca And Vescera Want To Make Utica Common Council More Transparent

Utica, NY (WIBX) - Utica Councilmen Jim Zecca and Frank Vescera plan to introduce a resolution at Wednesday night's Common Council meeting that would require the City Clerk to submit all proposed legislation in electronic form to the Council no later than the Monday before the regularly scheduled Council meetings.The legislation would also have to be submitted to all local media outlets.

Zecca and Vescera say this will be a significant step toward transparency in city government.
