His love for radio and music literally started the day he was born. Brett's dad brought a boombox into the delivery room. Basically, his parents chose his career path without even knowing it! Being on the radio is a perfect fit for a guy who struggles with math, spelling and science. Brett was born in North Carolina, but has called the Mohawk Valley home since he was about a year old. He and his younger brother grew up in Ilion. Brett got my start right here with Townsquare Media in Utica as an intern in 2010. Shortly after college, he started his professional career in local TV news with the hope of one day being on the radio. Brett first cracked the mic in 2013 as a weekend DJ for Classic Rock 96.9 WOUR. Brett's weekends are filled with trying new restaurants, going on walks and listening to his vinyl record collection. Country music has always been a favorite of mine. Kenny Chesney, Eric Church and Alan Jackson just to name a few. Now Brett gets to share his passion for music and the local community with you, weekday mornings on Big Frog 104.
