Sylvan Beach, NY (WIBX) - More than fifteen law enforcement and rescue agencies worked together in a search and rescue effort to recover four men after their boat sank in Oneida Lake last night.

Oneida County Sheriff Rob Maciol says that 39-year old Anthony Aceto is recovering with a broken shoulder and ribs at Saint Elizabeth's while the bodies of his father and two brothers were pulled from the lake this morning.

The father, 66-year old Anthony Aceto of Utica, and sons 41-year old Stephen Aceto of Tampa, Florida, and 33-year old Timothy Aceto were discovered in about fifteen feet of water approximately five miles from Sylvan Beach at about 6:30 this morning.

The men were on their way to Sylvan Beach when their boat hit a buoy and sank. The accident remains under investigation.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office was assisted by the following: New York State Police, United States Coast Guard, United States Coast Guard Auxiliary, Oswego County Sheriff's Office, Onondaga County Sheriff's Office, Sylvan Beach Fire Department, North Bay Fire Department, Bridgeport Fire Department, Cleveland Fire Department, Constantia Fire Department, West Monroe Fire Department, Brewerton Fire Department, South Bay Fire Department, Amcare Ambulance, and Vineall Ambulance.
