Car-Pedestrian Accident in Yorkville

Yorkville, NY (WIBX) - Whitestown Police say an 8-year old girl suffered only minor injuries after being hit by a car on Dudley Avenue in the Village of Yorkville.

Police say John Coughlin of Yorkville was taveling south on Dudley Avenue when the girl ran into the road.

Coughlin was unable to avoid the child and struck her with the front passenger side of his vehicle.

The girl was taken to St. Luke's Hospital for treatment.

Coughlin was ticketed for unlicensed operation and for having an unregistered motor vehicle.
