Chittenango Police Chief Subject Of Investigation

The Madison County Sheriff's Office recently executed search warrants at the Chittenango Police Department, the Chittenango Village Offices and the Paul Funeral Home in Madison and Brookfield.

The warrants are part of an ongoing investigation concerning Chittenango Police Chief Jeffery Paul.

Paul is also a part-time deputy with the Madison County Sheriff's Office.

Authorities say Paul and village officials have been cooperative with Sheriff's investigators.

More information is expected to be released early next week.
