Durhamville Man Facing Drug Charges

A Durhamville man was arrested after State Police discovered a suspicious backpack at a property on Jug Point Road in Verona.

Carl Ellswoth is charges with unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine and criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Police say the backpack contained materials typically used in the manufacture of meth, along with an unknown liquid.

Ellsworth was arraigned and sent to the Oneida County jail without bail.
