Frankfort Couple Arrested On Food Stamps Fraud

Two Frankfort residents will face charges of welfare fraud and grand larceny after an investigation found that they failed to provide accurate income information to the Herkimer County Department of Social Services.

The Herkimer County Sheriff's Office says Michael and Sheila Goodhines allegedly received $10,047 in Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program(SNAP) funds between August 2014 and March 2016.

Both were arraigned in the City of Little Falls Court and are scheduled to return in early August.
