Jon Beason and the Giants have reportedly agreed to a new contract to keep the veteran linebacker with Big Blue.

Aditi Kinkhabwala of the NFL Network reported on twitter (@Akinkhabwala) that both sides agreed on a new contract - details of which are net yet available.

Beason came to the Giants via a trade with Panthers during the season and instantly became an impact player and defensive leader.
