Handyman Turns In Suspect After Damage To Front Door

Utica, NY (WIBX) - A Utica man was taken into police custody following a brief foot chase on Columbia Street. Officials say 21-year-old Quandell O'Neal damaged the front door to an apartment building. The handy man for the apartment building called police after he allegedly witnessed the suspect crack the top glass portion of the door and remove the bottom paneling.

O'Neal was spotted walking in the middle of the roadway when he engaged police in a foot chase. He's charged with Criminal Mischief and Having a Controlled Substance not in its original container. He was also ticketed for not using the sidewalk.
