Happy World UFO Day 2014!

July second is no longer just two days before a long Independence Day weekend in the United States - it now has other-worldly significance.

On the official World UFO Day website the group says the goal of the day is simply "...to raise awareness about the undoubted existence of UFO’s and with that intelligent beings from outer space."

The first World UFO Day was celebrated in 2001.  Since then events have been organized everywhere from Roswell to Africa to the United Arab Emirates and, of course, beyond.
