Herkimer Teen Charged with Falsely Reporting an Incident in Ilion

A teenager in Herkimer is facing a felony charge after allegedly pulling a fire alarm at Pathway's Academy.

Ilion Police say the 15-year old Herkimer resident pulled the alarm knowing that there was no fire or emergency.

The incident took place on Saturday, February 8, 2014.

She was issued a juvenile appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear at the Herkimer County Probation Department.

The young woman's identity is being withheld because of her age.
