The Buffalo Bills are playing the Miami Dolphins on Thursday night and the Bills just got a huge update about who will not be playing.

When you're playing a division rival, you'll take any advantage you can get.  Some people are already screaming about how the Bills have a leg up just from playing in Miami at night.  Last year, the Bills played the Dolphins early in the year in Miami on what turned out to be a scorchingly hot day.  Not only did they end up having to wear their dark uniforms (home team gets to choose which uniform they wear, dark or light) but they were also in the direct sun for the entire game.  Because the Bills will be taking them on at night, the sun shouldn't be a factor this time.

More news just came out today that could give the Bills what seems to be an advantage.  Starting running back Raheem Mostert will be out for Thursday night.  Mostert hasn't been practicing this week and Miami head coach Mike McDaniel just ruled him out this morning.

As you can see from the tweet above, their other starting back De'Von Achane is questionable also.

Does it mean that the Bills have a clear advantage?  Not necessarily.  Monday night, the Jets took on the 49ers who ended up playing without their star running back Christian McCaffery and did just fine.

The Bills have already ruled out Taron Johnson for the game.  That will be a big loss for them in what already looks to be a bit of a shaky secondary.

The Bills will take on Miami in Miami Thursday night at 8:15pm.
