Judge Dwyer Named Parade Grand Marshal

Utica, NY (WIBX) - Oneida County Court Judge Michael Dwyer has been named the Grand Marshal for Utica's 2011 St. Patrick's Day Parade.

Parade officials say Dwyer was chosen from a list of worthy nominees in recognition
of a lifetime of devotion to his community and his Irish heritage.

Dwyer says he's very humbled, proud and honored, but was a little concerned that there were
people who were more deserving of the honor.

The parade will take place on Saturday, March 12th.
