The Knicks used a 38 point first quarter to build an early lead and coasted to a 104-95 win over the Nets in New Jersey on Wednesday night.

Carmelo Anthony led the way again with 33 points, Tyson Chandler added 18 and ten rebounds and J.R.  had 15 points and eight boards. Smith and Novak didn't have quite the success from 3-point range as they did on Tuesday, when the Knicks set an NBA record with 14 first-half 3's. But New York was did make 13 long-balls (13 of 35) against New Jersey (22-41).

Gerald Wallace had 21 points for the Nets, Sundiata Gains scored 18 and Kris Humphries snatched 15 off the glass. Deron Williams missed his second straight game with a sore calf.

The Knicks (33-29) have won four of the last five heading into Cleveland on Friday night at 7:30.
