Lightning goalie Ben Bishop rebounded after being pulled in second period of Game 1 to make 19 saves. He gave up four goals on 13 shots Wednesday night in a 5-3 loss. Game 3 is Tuesday night in Brooklyn.

BOSTON (AP) — Jackie Bradley Junior and Mookie Betts had three RBIs apiece, David Ortiz homered again and the Boston Red Sox blanked the New York Yankees 8-0 Saturday night. The Red Sox will look to sweep the three-game series Sunday night when David Price pitches for Boston in his first regular-season taste of the longtime rivalry.

NEW YORK (AP) — Michael Conforto and Wilmer Flores homered and the New York Mets won their eighth in a row, building an early lead for Jacob deGrom and holding off the San Francisco Giants 6-5 Saturday. The crowd of 44,466 was the largest for a regular-season game at Citi Field since the park opened in 2009, with a lot of fans attracted by the Noah Syndergaard Garden Gnome giveaway.

NEW YORK (AP) — Steven Mendoza broke a tie in the 73rd minute and New York City FC beat the Vancouver Whitecaps 3-2 Saturday to snap a seven-game winless streak. David Villa had two first-half goals for New York City.

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP) — The New York Jets have invited Terron Beckham, a cousin of Giants star wide receiver Odell Beckham Junior, to attend their rookie minicamp next week on a tryout basis. Mike Celli, the agent for Terron Beckham, announced on Twitter on Saturday night — a few hours after the NFL draft concluded — that the Jets offered his client an opportunity.
