Massachusetts Fugitive Arrested in New York Mills

A fugitive wanted by the State of Massachusetts is now in police custody following an arrest in New York.

New York State Police announced today that 53-Year old Pedro Santana of Mohawk Street in Utica was arrested on December 13, 2013 following a traffic stop in New York Mills.

Santana was found allegedly to have an active arrest warrant for aggravated assault in Massachusetts.

Santana is awaiting extradition at the Oneida County Jail without bail.
