OC Deputy Sheriff Involved in Motor Vehicle Accident

Annsville, NY (WIBX) - A Pennsylvania man was arrested after sideswiping an Oneida County Sheriff patrol car, then leading the Deputy on a short pursuit after the collision, that according to the Sheriff Rob Maciol. Earlier this morning a Sheriff's deputy was stopped at an intersection in the Town of Annsville.

The deputy was waiting to make a left hand turn onto route 69 when 48-year old Mark Dobroski attempted to make a right hand turn from route 69 west. According to authorities, Dobroski tried to make the turn at a high rate of speed causing him to lose control of his vehicle. Instead of stopping, Dobroski continued driving.

After a short pursuit he was pulled over and taken into custody.  Dobroski was cited for several traffic violations including; aggravated DWI and DWI. There were no injuries as a result of the collision.
