Oneida City Police Arrest Three Following Drug Investigation

Three people are under arrest following a drug investigation by Oneida Police.

Officials say on March 14th, Jade Parker, 22, and Patrick Wales, 30, both of Rome, were arrested for allegedly possessing heroin.

Also arrested was James Pethel, 37, of Boonville. Pethel allegedly had heroin he was planning to sell and drove his vehicle into a police car.

He also attempted to run over an officer, before he hit a parked car. Pathel was later caught on foot a short distance away.

Parker and Wales are charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance. Pethel faces several charges, including Criminal Possession, Reckless Endangerment and Reckless Driving.
