Oneida Woman Charged With Animal Cruelty

An Oneida Woman is facing animal cruelty charges after Madison County Sheriff's Deputies found three abandoned cats that belonged to her.

Police say Carla Bage allegedly left the cats in an unoccupied home in the Town of Lincoln without food, water or medical care resulting in ulcers, dehydration and malnutrition.

The cats were taken from the home and cared for by Wanderer's Rest Human Association.

Bage was issued an appearance ticket and will answer charges in August.
