Lowville, NY (WIBX) - A Port Leyden man is facing numerous charges following an eight month investigation.

According to State Police in Lowville, James Villiere, 68, allegedly had sexual contact with two different developmentally disabled men in the town of Lyonsdale.

Villiere was arrested and charged with one felony count of Criminal Sexual Act, along with one count of sexual abuse and two counts of Endangering the Welfare of an Incompetent or Physically Disabled Person.

He was arraigned in the Village of Lowville Court and remanded to the Lewis County Correctional Facility in lieu of $10,000 bail.

Villiere will reappear in the Town of Lyonsdale Court.
