Rome, NY (WIBX) - This Friday afternoon at 2:00, the public is invited to attend Rome Police Law Enforcement Day. It's taking place at Franklyn's Field on North James Street in Rome.

Many state and federal law enforcement officials from different agencies will be on hand to help with child safety seat inspections and the child I.D. program. There will also be Special Response Team, Live Taser, and Police K-9 demonstrations, including bouncy houses, live music and fireworks at dusk.
