Craig Gentry and Adrian Beltre drove in three run apiece helping the Rangers to a come from behind 10-6 win over the Yankees on Thursday to avoid a four game sweep.

New York used a five-run sixth inning to turn a 4-0 deficit into a 5-4 lead with RBI's from Derek Jeter, Nick Swisher and Russell Martin, and an Andruw Jones two-run blast sandwiched in between.

But the Rangers fired back with two runs off Cody Eppley (1-4) in the seventh and two more off Joba Chamberlain in the eighth.

Starter Ivan Nova didn't factor in the decision but allowed four runs on seven hits and four walks through 5 2/3 innings.

Despite the setback, the Bombers have won seven of their last nine, as they prepare to host the Red Sox in a weekend series at Yankee Stadium.
