
Rome Police Searching for Wanted Person of the Week
The Rome City Police Department is looking for a 27-year-old Brewerton Man as part of this week's Mohawk Valley Crime Stoppers Wanted Person of the Week.
DeShawn P. Jackson, who police say frequents the city of Rome, is wanted by police on weapons charges, according to Detective Commander Kevin James. James says that Jackson is wanted on Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 4th Degree (PL265.01 sub1), a charge that stemmed from a previous traffic stop in the city.
Police are asking for calls to be made to the Mohawk Valley Crime Stoppers tip line anonymously at 1-866-730-8477.
