Rome Woman Charged With DWI Under Leandra’s Law

A Rome woman is facing an aggravated DWI charge under Leandra's Law.

Rome Police say 45-year old Sara Webber was stopped on Black River Boulevard after reports that the driver of a vehicle in the drive thru at McDonald's appeared to be intoxicated.

Police say Webber's 10-year old son was a passenger in the vehicle.

Webber was also charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
