“South Pacific” Cast Performs For Local Veterans

Utica, NY (WIBX) - Cast members from the Broadway musical "South Pacific" held a special performance for local veterans at the New Hartford American Legion today.

Many area veterans, including those who served in the South Pacific during World War II, came out to see the actors perform.

One veteran said hearing the songs brought back many real life memories.

The cast members say it's their way of saying "Thank You" to our local veterans for their service to our country.

"South Pacific" can be seen live on stage tonight and Wednesday at 7:30PM at the Stanley Theater on Genesee Street in Utica.
