State Police Investigating Death Of Woman Found In Marcy

State Police are investigating the death of a woman who was found on Barnes Avenue in Marcy on Sunday.

Troopers say two hikers discovered the body of 50 year old Patricia Jachowski of Utica near the Barnes Avenue canal bridge.

Police say there appear to be no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and they are awaiting autopsy results from the Onondaga County Medical Examiner's Office to determine the cause of death.
