State Police Locate Missing Man

Lee, NY (WIBX) - UPDATE: Joseph W. Swancott Has been located in the Town of Camden. Officials say he was in good health but was arrested on a warrant. Police uncovered that he was wanted by the New Hartford Police Department and was subsequently turned over to them.

State Police in Lee are asking the public's help in locating a man who disappeared following a domestic dispute. Officials say 20-year-old Joseph W. Swancott threatened to harm himself before fleeing the residence where police were called to respond to a domestic dispute at 8334 Turin Road in Rome.

The incident occurred on Tuesday, 3/27, and Swancott hasn't been seen since. Officials say he's 6 feet tall, weighs 160 pounds and has blond hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, red hat, blue jeans and brown work boots. Anyone with information is asked to call State Police in Lee at (315) 337-0036.
