Amber Alert

A Cincinnatus man is facing numerous felony and other counts after he reportedly violated an order of protection and fled from authorities with his one and half year old toddler, prompting an Amber Alert.

UPDATE: 04/29/16  3:52 PM  Alicia Seelbach was arraigned in Herkimer County Family Court this afternoon a charge of child neglect and released. UPDATE: 04/29/2016  11:42am  New York State Police say that Alicia Seelbach turned herself in to Utica Police this morning.

The following Amber Alert was issued by the Syracuse Police Department on Sunday morning, February 21, 2016. As of this posting, police had not released photos of the missing child or her alleged abductor.

UPDATE: 02/23/2016  4:41am Ryan Lawrence was reported taken into custody overnight.  Crews are continuing to search for 21-month old Maddox Lawrence, who was not with abduction suspect Ryan Lawrence at the time.

State Police cancelled this Amber Alert at 8:14 p.m on Friday night. We'll update you with more information as it become available.

Here's another victory in the power of social media to do good.

Two young children who were the subject of an Amber Alert on Christmas Eve are now in the custody of Tompkins County Social Services after they were found unharmed later in the day on Wednesday.

An Amber Alert has been issued in Albany County for missing 5-year old Kenneth White who was taken from his home early this afternoon.
