Angry Birds continues its world-wide domination, as the first ever 'Angry Birds' movie keeps on truckin' along, but here's a major new development! While last we heard the film would be ready for a 2016 release with some veteran animators at the helm, today brings our first look at these walkin', talkin', pig-hatin' birds as animated characters. Better still, we finally know who's going to be voicing them on the big screen!

‘The Boxtrolls’ – which hit Hall H on Saturday at San Diego Comic-Con -- is the third feature film from Laika, the stop motion animation studio that brought the world ‘Coraline’ and the wonderful ‘ParaNorman.’ Honestly, I cannot get enough of these movies, and Laika is quietly becoming the most unique animation studio working today. (Pixar’s last three films have been ‘Monsters University,’ ‘Brave,’ and ‘Cars 2,’ which is not exactly that studio’s best work. And, yes, I realize ‘Brave’ won an Oscar, but that was a travesty.) Anyway, here are our seven favorite moments from ‘The Boxtrolls’ Comic-Con panel.

We hope you like jaegers, because we're about to get hit by a huge wave of 'Pacific Rim'-related movies, TV and comics. While Guillermo del Toro announced 'Pacific Rim 2' for 2017, there's also more comic books and an animated television series on the way, the latter of which the director revealed will help bridge the gap between where the first film ends and the sequel begins.

Sorry Vinny Chase, you've been replaced; Jason Momoa has been added to 'Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice' as Aquaman. Considering that the film is something of a warm up for 'Justice League,' it looks like they've got one more player in place for future sequels/spinoffs.

'The Flintstones' is being rebooted for the cinema, though this time (back) as a cartoon, with the help of Will Ferrell and Adam McKay. They'll be producing the film, which has already got a writer attached.

Since Disney acquired Marvel Studios, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been blown sky high, and it's about time both the superhero movie engine and the animation department combined forces to create Disney's first animated Marvel movie, 'Big Hero 6.' Casting has been slowly underway to fill out the leads, and now former 'SNL' funnygal and 'Bridesmaids' star Maya Rudolph has been thrown in the mix

In a move that surprised no one (or, let us rephrase, should have surprised no one), Warner Bros. formally announced that 'Man of Steel' director Zack Snyder will be helming the long-awaited 'Justice League' movie after he's finished with 'Batman vs. Superman.' With his Superman sequel set for release on May 6, 2016, the premiere date for this DC superhero team-up is projected for around 2018, and
