Democratic Congressional candidate Blake Gendebien is making it clear that voters in New York's 21st Congressional District shouldn't confuse him with the Democratic Socialists making headlines in New York City and around the country.

Blake Gendebien, a farmer and Democrat, is running for Congress for the soon-to-be open seat in the 21st Congressional District currently held by Rep. Elise Stefanik. Stefanik is expected to resign her seat soon, once she's confirmed as President Trump's Ambassador to the United Nations.

The NY-21 congressional seat that was expected to be vacant back in early January is about to open up, triggering a special election to be scheduled soon.
