Scattered rain showers linger today with blustery winds into the afternoon and evening. Rain gradually changes to snow with some light accumulations overnight. Most of Saturday will be dry before a few rain showers move in during the evening.
The National Weather Service is looking at six days over the next week that look unseasonably warm and sunny. Providing the current weather pattern doesn't change, moods will be improving across Central New York and the Mohawk Valley.
It feels like this summer has been warmer than the average summer here in the Mohawk Valley. It also seems like we've had an abnormally high number of 90 degree days this year, and we're only just coming up on mid-August. There's still plenty of summer left.
