SANTA CLARA, Calif. (AP) — San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick says he has received death threats through social media and other avenues since he began his protest during the national anthem last month.
The San Francisco 49ers' starting quarterback, Colin Kaepernick, is reportedly under investigation for sexual assault. He is not the only one. Two other NFL players are also named in the investigation. They are Quinton Patton of the 49ers and Ricardo Lockette of the rival Seattle Seahawks.
The San Francisco 49ers rallied past the Atlanta Falcons for the NFC title, and the Baltimore Ravens upset the New England Patriots for the AFC crown.
