Longtime New York Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver is expected to be arrested today on corruption related charges, according to a report from the New York Times.
Nagin Gets 10 Year Sentence
NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Ray Nagin entered New Orleans City Hall as a cool, confidant self-styled reformer in 2002. He won national notoriety as a passionate, if profane, critic of the federal response to Hurricane Katrina in 2005. He exited in 2010 under suspicion.
