WIBX 950 has obtained a copy of the Memorandum of Agreement between the City of Utica, Oneida County and the Mohawk Valley Hospital System regarding the proposed new downtown hospital in Utica.
The city of Utica is prepared to move forward with the downtown Utica hospital and officials say the city can afford to fund 40% of the adjacent $40-million parking garage.
Oneida County and the City of Utica are running out of time to come up with a funding equation for a parking garage for the proposed downtown hospital, otherwise the entire project could be scrapped.
