Some local hockey fans proved their team loyalty this morning, waiting in line since last night for tickets to the AHL's Calder Cup contests between the Utica Comets and Manchester Monarchs.

The effort to bring the AHL All-Star Classic to Utica can be tied to current Utica Comets co-owner Frank DuRoss and spans two decades.

The Utica Comets will host the 2015 AHL All-Star game.
