The chaos began with an early morning stabbing during a shift on Sunday at the Amazon facility in Frankfort and it ended with multiple stabbings on the streets of Utica later on in the day. Details are sketchy regarding the multiple assaults at this point of the investigation and police say they currently have not been able to establish a motive.

In an open letter to the public Monday night, the Village of Frankfort Mayor announced his intention to being the process of shutting down the local police department.

The Frankfort Police are asking for the public's help to identify the vehicle that stopped for gas at the Stewart's Shop.

The Ilion Police Department is warning residents and local businesses of of counterfeit $20 bills circulating around the Village and surrounding areas.

UPDATE: 04/29/16  3:52 PM  Alicia Seelbach was arraigned in Herkimer County Family Court this afternoon a charge of child neglect and released. UPDATE: 04/29/2016  11:42am  New York State Police say that Alicia Seelbach turned herself in to Utica Police this morning.

Ilion Police are now releasing more information about Sunday's fatal traffic accident.
