While the numbers are not as high as they were months ago, the virus is still alive and spreading. An increase in COVID-19 cases in Little Falls has made things difficult for Superintendent of Schools there, Dr. Keith Levatino.

The Little Falls City School District has been forced to go to 100-percent virtual learning at its middle school for the rest of this week, because of a positive COVID-19 case.

The Little Falls School District is closed today and will be closed on Monday in preparation of the possible spread of Coronavirus.

A Little Falls teacher and coach has filed a notice of claim against the Little Falls School District over punishment he says he received after he cooperated with a police investigation earlier this year.

UPDATE:  3:25 p.m.   All after-school activities in the Herkimer Central School District have been cancelled for today, following a social media threat.  No other details are available at this time.

The Little Falls City School District is set to get a $100,000 grant to help with budgetary needs.
