Multi-Vehicle Crash

The New York State Police Department is still investigating a three-car crash that happened in the Town of Clay. The crash resulted in one vehicle crashing into a restaurant.

A crash involving more than 20 cars and trucks Wednesday shut down a section of the New York State Thruway in western New York, where blizzard warnings were in place and people were urged to stay inside and out of the wind-driven snow and sub-zero wind chills.

Police are investigating the cause of a multiple-vehicle crash on a busy Buffalo highway that has left one person dead.
