The New York State Liquor Authority has announced a massive change to its policies that will now allow a wide range of "adult-oriented recreational businesses" to sell alcohol to their customers.
Each year around the holidays, New York State Police and the NYS Liquor Authority conduct one of their sting operations to find local establishments, clerks and bartenders willing to sell alcohol to minors. An operation was recently conducted on November 21, 2024, and all but one of the locations tested complied with the law.

Some of you may be thinking that this is actually ridiculous. But, the New York State Liquor Law says that and 'pre-mixed' drink is prohibited to be sold or given away at the bar. Obviously, that includes Jello shots.
