Weather forecasters are closely watching a low pressure expected to travel up the east coast later this week which could turn into a classic Nor'easter this weekend for the Mohawk Valley.
Last week, we dealt with snow from a classic Nor'easter. This week, another storm labeled as a Nor'easter is expected to hit off the eastern seaboard, but how much will we receive in the Greater Utica region?
It's two weeks from Christmas and we've seen but a dusting of snow in the Mohawk Valley and this weekend temperatures are in the lower 50s. Inevitably, snow is on the way with colder temperatures and that might come this week.
The latest nor'easter lost some punch as it rolled into New England on Thursday, as millions of others in the Northeast dug out from the storm that dumped more than a foot of snow in some places, knocked out power to tens of thousands of customers and had many wishing for more spring-like weather.
Instead of a couple of inches of snow for the Greater Binghamton area, weather spotters reported half foot totals or more around the region March 14 into early March 15.
