ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (AP) — Ray Rice and Janay Palmer can be heard shouting obscenities at each other, and she appears to spit in the face of the three-time Pro Bowl running back right before he throws a knockout punch in a video shown to The Associated Press by a law enforcement official.

NFL running back Ray Rice has been cut by the Baltimore Ravens following a new video that surfaced today showing Rice brutally punching his then fiance and now wife in the face in an elevator at an Atlantic City hotel.

Following the public release of a video showing running back Ray Rice striking his then-fiancee, the Ravens have released him and the NFL has suspended him indefinitely.

Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice has publicly apologized for the January incident in which he had a domestic dispute with his then fiancee.
